Dr. Monica McIntyre Herron

Dr. Monica McIntyre Herron has been practicing pediatric dentistry for approximately 17 years. She strives to provide comprehensive dental care to children in a caring, relaxed, and fun environment. She is a native of Memphis, Tennessee who attended Tennessee State University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. She completed a general practice residency at the University Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Her love for children nudged in her in the direction of Washington, DC and she was accepted into Howard University where she received her Certification in Pediatric Dentistry.

She is a member the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. “Dr. Monica”, as she is lovingly called by her patients, is happily married to Joe and has two children, Evan and Erin.
